10. About Travel Insurance

In HEY PERU! we care about the well-being of our clients; For this reason, we have implemented our risk minimization policy in which we recommend reviewing more about the advantages of having Travel Insurance as well as taking the following precautions:

RECOMMENDED FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES: Because the physical demand in the development of these tours is not extreme, we recommend the acquisition of travel insurance that has medical coverage for cancellations and delays.

MANDATORY FOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES: Knowing the implications of the different routes (climatic conditions, physical demands, adaptation to geography, and others), we require the acquisition of mandatory travel insurance, which offers medical coverage, evacuations, cancellations, delays and more. Additionally, people who suffer from pre-existing diseases (high blood pressure and other cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal system problems, diabetes, asthma, history of altitude sickness, people who suffer from acrophobia or panic at heights and others) must come with a medical evaluation. from their place of origin and with the relevant medication. Remember that both medicine and insurance are preventative.

This is the best option for groups that wish to make their payments jointly, for groups with a good number of people (preferably more than 8 people). Likewise, it is highly recommended for Peruvian clients.

  • If your bank is outside of Peru, it most likely uses intermediary banks and each of these banks charges additional commissions which must be assumed by the client (we will know the exact amount of commissions once the money enters our account). Check if your bank will be able to make transfers without intermediaries or direct to ours.

  • Make the transfer to our account only according to the information indicated in the table below.
